HEALTH WARNING ON ALDI & LIDL PRODUCTS!

We have noticed from reading the various forums that some people have started to use a washing product from Aldi, Lidl and other supermarkets as a Toilet Fluid to treat their black water cassettes and Holding Tanks. While we have no problem with these products for the purpose that they were designed for, we feel we should warn people that this could be a very dangerous practice. There are two kinds of Toilet Fluid. The ones that have been in production for years, the Non-Bio types such as Elsan that work by killing ALL bacteria stone dead. This is the one very sure way of eliminating odour and eliminating the possibility of ill health from contact with waste. The newer types are Biological in nature and work by adding stimulants, enzymes and certain strains of non-pathogenic bacillus that will consume not only the human waste but as they become top predator in the tank will consume the dangerous pathogenic microbes as well. BioMagic does this very well and so will other decent biological products but the washing up products are not designed to have this important capability. By using these to save a few pence you are putting the health of you family at risk. If you are in doubt, just ask the makers of these washing products the question: If they would be prepared to cover your health costs if you were to become ill from contacting the waste that comes out of your tank?
